Language that sings is a fascinating creature especially in German. Writing lyrics means
shaping thought and feeling into rhythm and sound.

Though I’ve dabbled in songwriting for pop and classical Kunstlied, my passion lies in lyrics for stage characters – nding that sweet spot where every word feels natural in the scene, yet carries the clarity and emotional trigger great song lyrics can unlock.

Almost half of my lyric work lives in German adaptations of Broadway shows: carrying songs
across languages, cultures and syllable counts without losing their soul no matter if the tone and style vary widely, from Hamilton to Aladdin, from Crazy for You to Chicago, and beyond.

I believe good adaptation isn’t about translating words – it’s about translating emotion.
