Based on Disney’s Oscar-winning animated film and the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale, Frozen brings the story of royal sisters Elsa and Anna to the stage with thrilling theatricality, expanded songs, and brand-new material written for Broadway.

Elsa was born with a secret power — one that could destroy everything she loves. When she loses control and plunges the kingdom of Arendelle into eternal winter, it’s up to her fearless sister Anna to bring her back. Alongside a rugged iceman, a loyal reindeer and a talking snowman, Anna sets out on a journey of love, loss and self-discovery.

With a sweeping score by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez and a book by Jennifer Lee, Frozen is a moving tale of inner strength, sisterhood and the courage it takes to embrace who you really are.

The German-language premiere opened at Hamburg’s Stage Theater an der Elbe — developed in close collaboration with Disney Theatrical Productions.
