MORE
The Fisherman, His Wife,
and the Search for Happiness
Music: Marc Schubring
Book & Lyrics: Kevin Schroeder
A musical inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairytale, conceived as a shared ritual performed by the ensemble. Theatrical music infused with Nordic folk elements creates a melancholic yet raw atmosphere, in which two people grapple with the lost happiness of their relationship. Set on the Baltic Sea, MORE is a musical about the search for fulfillment — and the many detours and illusions we so easily fall for along the way.
The show premiered at the Brothers Grimm Festival, Hanau and received seven nominations for the German Musical Theatre Award, including Best Musical and Best Lyrics.

Kevin Schroeder, who wrote both the book and lyrics, transforms the short Grimm tale of the greedy fisherman’s
