From October 7 to 10, the International Musical Festival Shanghai took place at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, bringing together industry professionals from across China and a select group of international guests. The event featured lectures, masterclasses, and awards, creating space for artistic exchange, connection, and learning.

LOTTE was invited for a special showcase. Tobias Weis’ performance of the song “Mehr zu sein” was met with enthusiastic applause and strong emotional resonance from the Chinese audience.

Following the presentation, promising conversations have begun about a potential Chinese production of the musical.
